Zakończono dziś cykl turniejów dla dzieci. W pięciu turniejach wystąpiło w sumie 34 graczy. Puchar po raz trzeci z rzędu wywalczył Bartosz Ciesielski, który wyprzedził Marcelinę Walewską i Józefa Budzyńskiego. Nagrodzono 13 graczy, którzy wystąpili w minimum trzech turniejach. Dziś wręczono też nagrody za Mistrzostwa Śremu w szachach klasycznych. Zwyciężył Marek Simon, przed Rafałem Janickim i Michałem Tomczakiem. Nieoczekiwanie dla szachistów do grona sponsorów dołączył też wydawca Śremskiego Notatnika Historycznego – Krzysztof Budzyń, któremu szachiści serdecznie dziękują!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said „You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
